• What time is Mdm Lim opening the band room?

Mdm Lim will be opening the band room at 2.30pm, so those of you who can make it after sch (which means you have nothing going on that afternoon) pls report to the band room immediately, or wait patiently for Mdm Lim to come.

• What must we do?

Alright. I'll be coming to band at 3pm so before i come, Mr Choy will be with you guys until 3pm. So take your instruments and wait for him in the band room. After i come, ONLY Trumpet & Trombone section, you guys will take the chairs from the quadrangle. Rmb to double up your chairs. The rest, take the chairs from our band room, guys pls help to move the chairs to the foyer. Move the chairs out first, then take your intstruments & stands out.

• What if we have something on that afternoon?

Ok, i understand that some of you may have to attend some workshops or attending lessons till quite late. But you still have to come for the rehearsal after your activity because the rehearsal might end quite late, so Mdm Lim wants you guys to be present for the rehearsal after your activity.

• What about our instruments?

This is important! Those people who are coming to band very late (about 5pm), by the time they come we will be at the parade square rehearsing already. But because we're gonna lock the band room while we're at the parade square so section mates, pls take the initiative to help those in your section take their instruments to the parade square. PLEASE REMEMBER!

• What to wear?

As said in the last band practice, those who have your black band tee, pls wear it. For those who dont have, pls wear your P.E. shirt, with your blue skirt/pants. NO P.E. shorts are allowed! Also, girls for your hair, pls tie it up neatly with your fringe all up. No hair covering your forehead.

• Rehearse until what time?

Hmm.. we're assuming that it'll end pretty late, about 6.30pm? Pls inform your parents that we're ending late on thurs, we dont wanna make them worry.

• Unsure of what are we gonna play for NDP?

THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT! This is how the piece sequence is gonna go:
1. Coast Guards March
2. Der Vogelhandler (Beginning to J)
3. Fanfare & Processional (Start from B)
4. Der Vogelhandler (4 bars from beginning to 8 bars before the end)
5. Fanfare & Processional (Beginning part) * this is not confirm, unless they have another march, if not we are not playing this. *

I'm conducting on that day so its important to look at me!! Yes, look at me because i'll be starting & ending the march & it's gonna be real messy if you dont follow. They might march & stop halfway suddenly then i'll have to cut & i dont wish we will make a big mistake by continue playing it after they have already stop. Percussion, PLEASE LOOK AT ME! Haha.
